The A6 Sportback e-tron is sold only in the Performance Black version with a 4-year warranty for the vehicle and an 8-year warranty for the battery.

The German brand’s model is here to compete with the compatriot BMW i4; however, the A6 e-tron is more expensive but offers more equipment, better performance, and a more appealing list of standard items.

Driving the Audi A6 Sportback e-tron

The Audi A6 Sportback e-tron impresses from the first kilometers behind the wheel. Equipped with an electric motor that delivers 367 hp and 57.1 kgfm of torque, the model reaches a top speed of 210 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds. Beyond numbers, the highlight is the immediate torque response, which ensures quick and safe overtakes, conveying the characteristic instant power sensation of electric vehicles.

The official range, according to the WLTP standard, is 445 km. The battery pack has a capacity of 100 kWh and can be recharged in just 21 minutes, from 30% to 80%, when connected to 270 kW direct current (DC) fast chargers. In practice, this means less downtime and more peace of mind on long journeys.

In terms of embedded technology, the A6 e-tron features a level 2 ADAS package, including adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, and autonomous emergency braking. For those who like screens, there are no less than 37 inches distributed among the instrument panel, the multimedia center, and the heads-up windshield display. The instrument panel replicates GPS information, displays lane assistants, and also includes the heads-up display, which shows speed, direction, and highway information in real time.

A controversial point is the camera rearview mirror, offered for R$ 20,000. Despite the improvement over previous systems, it still requires the driver to adjust their gaze to see correctly and does not convey the same depth perception as conventional mirrors. In practice, the feature can be seen more as a technological extravagance than a real advantage in everyday use.

According to Audi, the new A6 Sportback e-tron features its new visual design language in which sharp, straight creases have been softened to make way for smoother, more organic lines.

At the front, the highlight is the slim headlights that offer LED Matrix lighting with eight digital signature options. The main grille has a frame with glossy black finish.

On the side, the flush door handles are a charm in the A6 e-tron. Its sportback lines are guaranteed by the gradual slope of the roof towards the rear column. Mirrors, window trims, and an applique on the lower part of the doors have a glossy black finish. The visual is completed with beautiful 21-inch wheels.

Finally, at the rear, the Audi A5 Sportback e-tron debuts the illuminated Audi Rings in Brazil. The interconnected Full-LED taillights offer a light animation. The trunk lid has electric opening and closing, offering hands-free operation, projecting a light on the ground to know the exact location of the operation.
